Equidistant Pleasantries, original oil painting

This piece, 'Equidistant Pleasantries' is from my collection of women under umbrellas. The women are enveloped, separated, by their umbrella enclosures, able to reflect and ruminate quietly. Here, the two women meet, yet are restricted, and can only get so close. In this fleeting moment, they can only exchange so much, able to get no further than pleasantries.

Painted in oil on deep stretched canvas, this piece comes unframed but is strung on the back, ready for hanging.
